It looks like Nokia are going  to get all viral on our collective asses, releasing a slew of videos showing off their forthcoming Nokia N8 smartphone.

The footage shows off some pretty astonishing table football tricks (or foosball as some weird people call it) from Nokia’s N8 Foosball Fever shoot.

I bought an Apple iPad

Reader, I bought one.

I’d been waiting for weeks. Hearing the news that sales had gone so well in the States that they’d be launched late here came as an almost physical blow. Taken in by the hype? Yes, like a child is by Christmas.

And lo, when the morning came there I was with hundreds of other goons waiting at half seven for the Westfield Apple Store to open so I could buy one with the money saved up from doing extra shifts.

Thanks to Steve Jobs’ iron-like grip on what is allowed in Apple’s AppStore, it’s unlikely we’ll ever see a version of the massively popular Firefox browser running on an iPhone – which makes it a pain for Firefox users to sync their bookmarks.

When gun-lovin’ Roger Witter saw two men nick a load of  iPhones from an AT&T store Gresham, Oregon, he decided to take action.

Instead of sensibly waiting for the feds to arrive, he decided to go all Harry Callaghan on the perp’s asses, and blasted away at their departing car in an attempt to blow out its tyres.
