Android users more frisky on a first date while Blackberry fans hit the bottle

Android users more frisky on a first date while Blackberry fans hit the bottle

According to a fabulously pointless new survey, users of Android phones are supposedly more likely to have sex on a first date and embark on more one-night stands than owners of other smartphones.

The saucy survey – cobbled together by polling firm Zoomerang for dating website Match.com – asked 1,068 Canadian singles about their sexual activities and, err, their make of phone.

The study found that 62 per cent of Android-owning respondees have had sex on a first date, compared with 57 per cent of iPhone users and 48 per cent of BlackBerry users.

It also seems that Android users also were the most likely to have one-night stands, with 55 per cent deciding one night is enough, against 50 per cent of iPhone users and 47.6 per cent of Blackberry users.

Love/lust-seeking Android users were also the most active visitors of dating websites, with 72 per cent logging on, compared to 58 per cent of  iPhone users and 50 per cent of BlackBerrys owners.

More pointless facts

Just to round off this pointless assemblage of random facts, we can also tell you that iPhone owners were the most likely to date a co-worker, while BlackBerry users were far more likely to hit the bottle on a first date.

Yes. really.
