Dell has released a teaser video showing off its innovative touchscreen tablet computer that deftly flips into a regular notebook, complete with full QWERTY keyboard.

The Dell Inspiron Duo tablet hopes to become the best of two worlds, offering touchscreen tablet ease of use and notebook functionality in an all-flippin’ package.

Running Windows 7, the Duo is featured sitting in a rather natty JBL speaker dock to underline its multimedia prowess, and is billed as “coming soon.”

  1. Looking at the IBM/Lenovo x40t, x41t, x60t, x200t, x201t convertible tablets as well as convertibles from HP and others, I find this hype insulting: It’s a new hinge type for an old concept.
