Frankly, we can’t get enough of the spooky, lifelike humanoids being created under the Geminoids banner, and last month the robots – and the humans they’re based on – all gathered for a Summit at the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute in Nara, Japan.

If you’d stumbled into the room where the  ‘three Geminoids and their three originals’ had assembled, you’d be forgiven for thinking someone had dropped something interesting in your coffee, because it really looks an unsettling sight.

The lifelike robots were created by professors Hiroshi Ishiguro and Henrik Scharfe in their image, with a female assistant making up the third ‘borg, and seeing them all assembled dressed in the same clothes as the humans sure makes for a very strange scene.

Mind you, if you think that collection of robots looks odd, check out this utterly bizarre creation below.

And run! Run, we tell you!
