Goodbye music cassettes – you served us well

So farewell then, trusty old cassettes

It’s rather a sad day here at Chez Wirefresh, as large boxes are being filled with vast piles of music cassettes ready for throwing out.

Unused, unwanted and – for the last 15 years at least – pretty much unloved, the rise of CDs, and then MP3s and Spotify have put paid to the humble cassette.
