HTC Desire HD – aka Inspire 4G – brags about its ‘ridiculously big’ screen

HTC Desire HD videos big up the 'ridiculously big' screen

Two short and sweet adverts for the new HTC Desire HD Android handset have appeared, both bigging up the phone’s ‘ridiculously big’ screen.

The two 17 second adverts for Canadian network provider Telus are keen to trumpet the large 4.3 inch 480 x 800 pixel screen of the Desire HD handset, which was announced back in September 2010.

Brits full of desire while Americans get inspired

Although us Euro types have been revelling in Desire HD goodness for many months, the handset has only just made it over to the States where it goes under the more modest name of the HTC Inspire 4G.

Check out the short video action below, and to make up for their shameful brevity, we’ve also included the original promo, which can rock your world for a whole 7.35 minutes,

  1. Calling it a “4G” is a bit off. That has a meaning now, there are phones (some from HTC) with that capability being sold in the US. Not really very honest when it is a 3G phone.
