HTC Imagio given video once-over by long nailed woman

Previously known by its codename  Whitestone, the HTC Imagio is a Windows Mobile 6.5 device with a fairly upmarket spec sheet.

The phone has yet to be officially released, but the reckless folks at wirelesszone.com have gone right ahead and slammed up a lengthy video on YouTube demonstrating its capabilities.

The handset packs a  3.6″ WVGA resistive touchscreen display (that’s a healthy 800 x 480 pixels) , a beefy 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, 256 MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, EV-DO Rev. A, quad-band EDGE and 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA for international roaming.

Being a HTC handset, it comes with the  HTC Touch Flo interface which continues to do a manly job of covering up the horrors of Windows Mobile lurking below the surface.

Rounding off the feature set, there’s an old school stylus built in, onboard GPS plus an always-welcome 3.5mm headphone jack.

We’ll get back to you when we hear about UK pricing and availability.
