HTC Sensation slips closer to UK release

HTC Sensation slips closer to UK release

We recently compared the two hottest up and coming Android handsets – the HTC Sensation and the Samsung Galaxy S II – and for us, the Sensation looked to just nudge the deal.

But that’s only going on specs and looks, so we’re busting a gut to get our paws on one of these new phones, and the good news is that the release date seems to be edging ever-nearer.

The latest rumour points to this delicious slap of smartphone goodness being released on June 8 in the States, with the phone going under the name of the ‘HTC Sensation 4G’ on the T-Mobile USA network.

UK release – ‘coming soon’

We’re hoping that Europe may get the Sensation at the same time (or maybe even before) the US, but so far all there is on HTC’s UK site is a ‘coming soon’ page listing the handset’s specifications, while a sign-up page for those wanting more information has appeared on their US site.

This phone looks like it might be worth the wait though, with the Sensation packing a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, HSPA+ connectivity,  4.3-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera on the back with autofocus and a dual-LED flash and  HTC’s shiny new Sense 3.0 interface.
