Learn to give presentations like Steve Jobs!
If you’re finding workmates falling asleep as you flap through your flip charts or slumbering at your Powerpoint slides , it might be worth learning a few tricks from one of the great presenters, Steve Jobs.
Check out this TV interview on ABC News with some bloke enthusiastically flogging a book about improving presentation skills (if you can get past the woman’s curious mangling of the word, ‘presentation’)
It’s all very American of course, but there’s a few interesting nuggets in there, especially the author’s claim that Jobs’ rehearses for ‘hundreds of hours over a period of weeks’ for a single presentation.
