Little Dog robot: brilliant, clever and not a little scary

Boston Dynamics – who previously scared the Beejuzus out of us with their  BigDog robotic load carrier creation -  has produced a smaller, meaner, weirder version, aptly called Little Dog.

The new robot mini-canine comes with a slew of cunning technological advancements, making its progress over difficult, rocky terrain look even more animal-like than before.

Check out the video below and watch the little critter climb over obstacles and traverse awkward ground with ease, and begin to feel a little worried about the future.

And where’s its head gone? OMG!

Check out its ultra-terrifying predecessor, BigDog. Run!

The Big Dog is a lot less scary once you realise it looks like Barry and Paul Chuckle carrying a chest of drawers.
