T-Mobile Pulse Mini – cheap’n'cheerful Android smartphone
T-Mobile UK has unveiled its latest Android handset – the teensy weensy T-Mobile Pulse Mini, running the latest Android 2.1 software.
Offered contract-free for just £99.99, the Pay-As-You-Go Pulse Mini is a slimmed-down version of the T-Mobile Pulse, with the Huawei-manufactured device boasting a 2.8” QVGA touch screen, 3.2 Mega pixel camera with LED Flash and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Measuring up at 106 x 57 x 14 mm and weighing 110 grams, the Pulse Mini runs on a Qualcomm MSM7225 core, and packs 300 MB of internal memory, expandable up to 16 GB using the built-in microSD memory card slot.
There’s ne’er a mention of wi-fi, G-sensor or a digital compass
Nicola Shenton, Head of Handset and Device Marketing, T-Mobile UK was on hand to froth up the love: We want to make sure all our customers get the chance to experience Android, which is why we’re expanding our family of Android devices.
The Pulse Mini will no doubt prove a big hit with customers looking for cutting-edge smartphone features without the commitment of a monthly contract.”
