WordPress – the very same software that powers this ‘umble site – has just enjoyed an upgrade to version 3.3, with the latest update including useful features like iPad Optimisation, a new drag-and-drop uploader and a Tumblr Importer.
After seriously miffing off old school bloggers with their troublesome decision to withdraw all FTP support, Blogger are looking to sweeten the pill with their new Blogger Template Designer tool.
The Template Designer has turned up in their ‘Blogger in Draft‘ experimental playground, and promises to “go beyond static templates and reinvent the whole process of designing your blog.”
Google has announced a new search service that serves up a dynamic stream of real-time content from across the web, incorporating near-instant updates from web pages and social networking partners.
When searching on Google, you’ll soon be able to see live updates from popular sites like Facebook, Twitter, FriendFeed and MySpace, as well as freshly published headlines from news sites and blog posts.
