Asus has announced that their new Eee Note EA800 will be available in Europe next month, with pricing set at 259 Euros (around £220).

There’s going to be an avalanche of tablets being announced at this year’s CES 2011 Show, and first to come tumbling down the mountain is Asus, who have just announced no less than four new tablets.
Running on Windows and Android tablets, the tablets come with displays ranging in size from 7 to 12 inches, with prices starting at a modest $399 and soaring up to $1099.

Looking like the offspring of an unholy alliance between a Kindle eReader and Microsoft’s tragically abandoned Courier project, Entourage’s Pocket eDGe is a dual-screen Android 1.6-powered clamshell device with a 7-inch colour touchscreen and a Wacom-enabled 6-inch E Ink epaper display.

We used to love our old Toshiba Libretto 50, and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Toshiba’s laptop business, the company has unveiled a dual-screen Windows 7 laptop, the Libretto W100.

So, it turned out to be one long tease from Microsoft.
After setting the tech world ablaze with tempting, tantalising video titbits of its sensational-looking Courier concept, Microsoft has pulled the plug on the dual-screen dreamboat device.
We’re more stoked up than a Great Western Railway King Class 4-6-0 steam locomotive when it comes to Microsoft’s hotly rumoured Courier tablet/digital journal, so we were well chuffed when more details emerged over the weekend.
Tech site Engadget posted up what it says are a selection of leaked images and a video, and it looks like the device is building up a healthy head of steam – and it’s smaller than we expected too.

Gizmodo have released more info about Microsoft’s fascinating Courier tablet, with the site showing an internal video showing how the company thinks we’ll use Courier.

The video looks less of a concept piece than the first, with the interface looking smoother, offering a more defined folder system, universal search and multi-page web browsing. Perhaps this is close to the finished thing?
If the report on tech site Gizmodo is accurate, you’re looking at Microsoft’s revolutionary new ‘Courier’ tablet PC – or rather ‘booklet’-form factor, mobile folding thingamabob wotsit.

According to the site, the device comes in a novel booklet form with dual 7-inch multi touch screens, with users interacting by writing, flicking and drawing with a stylus, or using their fingers.
