Minecraft updates to v1.1, game now attracts over 20 million registered users

The hugely popular world-building game Minecraft has just received an upgrade to version 1.1 has, with developer Markus Persson (AKA Notch) announcing on Twitter that registered users have just passed the 20 million mark.

PC Gaming market - twice the size of Wii, PS3 and XBox *combined*!

New figures released by the PC Gaming Alliance reveal that far from being on the ropes, PC gaming remains very much alive, with shipping volumes for the platform being twice the size of the combined amounts of all the major consoles last year.
