Although we all know that popularity of RSS feeds are fast fading as people continue to flock to Twitter for their news, we still use Google Reader every day for accessing a slew of websites.

It’s taken a near-eternity to materialise, but the bods at Google have finally got around to releasing their own dedicated Android Google Reader app.

We’re mighty big fans of Google Reader at Wirefresh – it’s been our de facto RSS reader for years – but it can take a little while to find out and sort your feeds.
Google Reader – which has long been our #1 blog and RSS reader – has just got a whole load better. Oh yes, indeedy!
The search engine giant has announced that the browser-based reader will now be able to track changes and updates to websites that currently don’t provide news feeds – so you’ll now be able to track any site you’re interested in.
