NASA have released an incredible photo taken by their Terra satellite showing the extent of Britain’s big freeze – and we’ve been out and about taking pictures of the icy conditions around London.

In Hyde Park in central London, the vast Serpentine lake has entirely frozen up and the famous fountains in Trafalgar Square have been solid blocks of ice for many days.
