The big telecommunications companies over here (Verizon, AT&T, etc.) are now offering cheap netbooks if you sign up for a wireless internet contract to go with them. It's pretty much the same thing they've been doing for ages with phones, but extended to the mobile computer market. You get the hardware cheap, but they lock you into a long and pricey contract. @P

Yeah, it’s with a contract. The big telecommunications companies over here (Verizon, AT&T, etc.) are now offering cheap netbooks if you sign up for a wireless internet contract to go with them. It’s pretty much the same thing they’ve been doing for ages with phones, but extended to the mobile computer market. You get the hardware cheap, but they lock you into a long and pricey contract.
