VisualBoyAdvance turns Palm Pre into Game Boy emulatorThe Palm webOS has been given another boost in its gaming abilities, with the release of VisualBoyAdvance – a free, webOS-based emulator for Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games.

VisualBoyAdvance (VBA) is an open source emulator available for numerous operating systems, and it’s now been successfully ported and enhanced for webOS.

Users report that most Gameboy/Gameboy Colour games run just fine, although some Gameboy Advance games have speed issues – these can generally be cured by turning off the sound.

The latest version (v1.1.1) of VisualBoyAdvance also adds full skinning support and the app is free to download here.
