Vodafone UK to offer HTC Legend and HTC Desire Android handsets

Vodafone UK to offer HTC Legend and HTC Desire Android handsets

With the Google Nexus One already confirmed for the network, Vodafone UK has announced that it will also be serving up HTC’s latest – and some may say hottest – new Android smartphones from in April.

The HTC Legend – which will be an exclusive to Vodafone UK – and the HTC Desire will both be spreading Android goodness into UK stores from next month.

Vodafone UK to offer HTC Legend and HTC Desire Android handsets

The handsets run on the Android 2.1 OS with HTC’s Sense UI enhancements on top, with the Desire packing  a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen and the Legend offering a smaller 3.2-inch HVGA AMOLED touchscreen.

Pricing is yet to be officially confirmed, although it’s a fair bet that both will be available for free on some of the costlier monthly plans.
