Web 3.0 and the semantic web explained in a 15 minute video. Sort of.

To be honest, we’re still trying to get our heads around all of this ‘web 3.0′ and ‘semantic web’ stuff, but this fascinating 15 minute video provides some helpful pointers.
The ‘Web 3.0′ film, put together by Kate Ray, a Journalism/Psychology major at NYU, discusses the challenges of turning all of the data on the web into structured data ‘so as to define relationships between it and derive meaning’.
The video may not leave you with a total understanding of exactly what it is that’s going on, but it’s certainly worth a look.
Grab yourself a coffee and give it a view!
