It’s not listed for sale in the UK/US just yet, but with the official product page for the Asus Transformer Book T200TA now online, it can only be a matter of time.
The budget market 11.6 inch tablet with keyboard dock builds on the success of the highly reviewed Transformer Book T100 machine, and is powered by an Intel Atom Z3775 Bay Trail processor.
The screen supports a 1366 x 768 pixel display, and there’s options for up to 64GB of built-in solid state storage, with an optional extra 500GB hard drive in the keyboard dock.
Powered by Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 8.1, the tablet measures up at 305 x 194 x 11.95 mm (WxDxH), while the dock adds a fair bit of extra heft at 305 x 200 x 26 mm (WxDxH).
Battery life is claimed at a very productive 11 hours, and there’s dual band wi-fi and optional 4G onboard – and there’s a tray for swapping out hard drives.
