Extra creepy Spider robot looks set to terrify arachnophobics everywhere

Look away now if you have any kind of fear of spiders, because this spooky little bug robot will probably send you fleeing.

Called the T8 and retailing for $1,350, the wirelessly controlled bio-inspired octopod robot is made from high resolution 3D printed parts and uses a total of 26 motors: 3 in each leg and 2 in the abdomen.

Powered by the Bigfoot Inverse Kinematics Engine, the creature looks devilishly like a real spider and can do all those creepy things that a spider does – with the only thing giving the game away is that big cyclops bug eye.

The spider bot is officially available starting in September.
