Fujifilm and Harrods team up to release pointlessly expensive X100 Black Box Set

If owning a very nice camera isn’t enough for you, and you feel that you simply have to go one better than everyone else, then Harrods have got something for you.

For reasons best known to themselves, Fujifilm have teamed up with the upmarket department store to produce the exclusive X100 Black Premium Edition box.

Packed in a ‘sleek black presentation box,’ the well-heeled are invited to shell out an eye watering £1,795 to take home with them the X100 camera, lens hood, adapter ring, protector filter and a bespoke black and red leather case.

The X100 Black Premium Edition is limited to just 10,000 units globally, with each camera pointlessly having its own number so purchasers can know that they really do own camera #5,671.

The exclusive Harrods presentation box is limited to just 16 units – so be quick! – and comes with a letter of authenticity from Fujifilm UK, which will almost certainly make the resulting  photos look better.
