HTC Legend Android smartphone looks sweet

Hotly rumoured to be the next Android-powered blockbuster, details of what could be the HTC Legend handset are slowly filtering through the fug of the web.

Photos leaked to tech site Engadget show the Legend resplendent in aluminium casing, and packing a 3.2″ capacitive touchscreen, said to be AMOLED but only supporting a HVGA screen resolution – the same 480 x 320 pixels size as the iPhone and the Palm Pre.

There’s also a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 512MB of flash and 256MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, plus the all-important 3.5mm headphone jack.

There’s a good chance that the Legend might put in an appearance at HTC’s press conference next week at Mobile World Congress 2010, so we’ll keep you posted!
