Motorola’s flagship smartphone, the Moto X, has finally broken free from its U.S. exclusivity and it will be will be charging onto shop shelves in UK, France and Germany from the beginning of next month.
Priced at £380 for the sim-free version or from £25 on contract from Phones 4u, Carphone Warehouse, O2 and Amazon, Motorola’s big hitter will be available to the masses in black, with Phones 4u bagging the exclusive on the white model for three months.
The phone is more or less identical to the US model, which means you’ll be getting a generous 4.7-inch AMOLED (RGB) / HD 720p display running on the latest Android 4.4 Jelly Bean OS.
A shuffle around its innards would reveal a muscular Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.7GHz dual-core processor running the Motorola X8 Mobile Computing System, backed by 2GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB storage.
Powered by a 2200 mAh battery, the Moto X has a 10 MP rear-facing Clear Pixel camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera.
The device measures up at 65.3mm (width) x 129.4mm (height) and 5.7 -10.4mm deep and weighs 130g.
