The Xperia ray slips out of dock in a slender 9.4mm-thick body and packs a 3.3-inch Reality Display 854 x 480 resolution screen, running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

Around the back can be found an 8.1-megapixel camera, powered by a 1,500 mAh battery.

Designed for rugged outdoor types, the Xperia active has been built to withstand knocks, bashes, scrapes and lively pub jaunts, and is both dust proof and water resistant.

Thrusting out to the world with a 5-megapixel camera capable of recording HD video, the Android Gingerbread handset comes with a 3-inch 480 x 320 Reality display, and a chunky loop so you can strut about with the phone around your neck, drug dealer stylee.

Looking to creak open the depleted wallets of the financially challenged is the budget-friendly ‘txt’ feature phone, running a proprietary OS.

Coming with a modest set of specs, the cheapo handset offers a 2.6-inch screen, a full QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

Aimed at social networking aficionados, there’s a built-in Friends app allowing the minutiae of the day to be documented and shared instantly.

All three phones are set to launch during the third quarter of this year, prices to be announced later.
