Phising emails: a handy flow chart points out the perilsWith phising attacks on the rise, and ne’er do wells dreaming up ever more cunning ways to persuade people to perilously part with their precious personal data, the folks at loginhelper have whipped up a handy explanatory ‘flow chart.’

The chart helps inexperienced computer users analyse potentially dodgy emails, flagging up fishy elements and offering a course of action to deal with suspect emails.

The analysis starts by identifying the sender, and then highlights the components that make up a pesky phishing expedition, with more information offered in an accompanying article:  How To Identify Phishing Attacks.

We’re sure you – dear readers – are savvy enough to bat off phishing mails with aplomb, but the chart may be worth printing out for computer newbies or your old folks if they’re new to this computer lark.
