Packing  dual-analogue stick controllers, D-Pad and X, Y, B, A buttons, the Wikipad is claimed to be , the “evolution of gaming and tablets”  and runs on the Android  Jelly Bean platform.

Powered by a snappy Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset, the Wikipad’s 7-inch IPS screen runs at 1280×800 pixels resolution, with the device coming with 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot.

There’s also a 2MP front facing camera for video chats and built-in GPS, Gyroscope, Compass, and 3-Axis Accelerometer.

The Wikipad comes bundled with games like MadFingers’s Dead Trigger, Distinctive Games Hockey Nations Tournament and MadFinger’s great new multi-player ShadowGun: Dead Zone, and there’s access to games from the PlayStation Mobile and Nvidia Tegra Zone stores, as well as from Google Play.

Set to be released in the spring in territories across the globe, including the UK and US, the Wikipad will retail for $249/£158.
