No-one likes freebies, discounts and money saving offers more than cash-strapped, beer filled students, and Canon – Gawd bless ’em – are doing their bit to make college life a little more bearable.
Keen to persuade UK and Irish students to invest in the Canon range, the company is offering a new student cashback deal on the Canon EOs 7D and EOS 5D Mark II digital SLR cameras.
Aimed at students enrolled on a recognised university photographic course (and jammy lecturers and technicians working on those courses), there’s juicy discounts on offer in the form of £75 / €85 cashback on the Canon 7D and £150 / €180 back on the Canon 5D Mark II dSLR.
Students will have to get out of bed soon to grab the deal though, with both cameras needing to have bought by the end of August 2010, and claims sent off by the end of the following month.
Entrepreneurial students hoping to indulge in a bit of Arthur Daley/eBay action are advised that the cameras have to be bought from a retailer within the EOS Professional Network.
