Although it’s yet to pick up a network carrier in the UK, the Motorola Milestone XT720 can now be picked up in Blighty, and for your £360 you’ll be able to pocket this much-hyped asymmetrical Android 2.1 wonder, SIM-free.

Powered by an ARM Cortex-A8 processor, the Moto serves up a 3.7-inch display with expansive 480 x 854 pixels resolution, 720P video recording at 24fps., 10.2Mbps HSDPA, 512MB ROM / 256MB RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi and FM radio, with a claimed battery life of up to 4.5 of talktime over 3G courtesy of its 1390 mAh battery.

For stills there’s an impressive 8-megapixel camera that comes with geo-location features, auto-focus, a Xenon flash, plus smile and face detection, and there’s a built-in HDMI out port so you can watch your videos back on your mahoosive living room gogglebox.

The Milestone XT720 is available unlocked from online UK retailers Play for £359.99  and Clove for £381.88 but it’s worth bearing in mind that the Milestone 2/Droid 2 is scheduled for release soon.
