Nippon Institute of Technology unveils hissy-fit robot

Nippon Institute of Technology unveils hissy-fot robotWe hope it does more. In fact we’re sure it does more, although you wouldn’t know it from the YouTube clip that’s just been posted.

Researchers from the Nippon Institute of Technology working with Harada Vehicle Design, ZMP and ZNUG Design have unveiled the latest version of the e-NUVO walk bot.

Standing child-size at around 4 feet tall, the robot will be trotting into classes to teach children about its fellow humanoid robots in a hands-on environment.

Unfortunately, the video only shows the ‘bot indulging in what looks like an excellent foot-stamping hissy fit, followed by a disconcerting wobble when it stops. And that’s it.

Welcome to the future kids.
