Pointless Giorgio Armani Samsung Galaxy S handset swans into the UK

Stupidly expensive Giorgio Armani Samsung Galaxy S handset swans into the UK

If you’re the kind of doofus who thinks that paying a premium price to associate yourself with some trendy brand or another is a whizzo idea, then get your gold credit card at the ready.

Phones 4u has announced that it will be exclusively stocking a limited edition Giorgio Armani Samsung Galaxy S handset, which is exactly like the original Galaxy S except, err, it will have some non-performance enhancing ‘Giorgio Armani’ branding slapped on it. Oh, and cost a load more.

Lifestyle. Ya!

Working up to a full head of PR steam, Phones 4u’s marketing directorRussell Braterman, enthused: “As the leader of the mobile youth market, Phones 4u are always striving to offer the latest, must have handsets at the best possible price”, said  as he hit full PR mode.

“The exclusive, limited edition Giorgio Armani Samsung Galaxy S taps into the fashion savvy, trend setting lifestyle of our consumer”.

If you’ve finished guffawing at the tragic concept of a “trend setting lifestyle,” we can tell you that just 800 of these pointlessly overpriced phones will be available from this weekend, priced at £49.95 with a £45.96 a month contract.

Alternatively, if having the logo of an unassociated designer brand stuck on your phone is that important, you could save yourself a load of cash by drawing one on yourself with a felt tip pen.
