Robots rolls into cafe, orders scone to go

Seen rolling along the streets of Mountain View, California is this little stick robot that is filmed popping into a cafe to buy a snack.

“It’s got to be some crazy Google thing,” comments the amateur cameraman, as he follows the robot into the cafe where he finds the robo-thing patiently standing in line.

The robot places its order with the suitable befuddled shop assistant, while bystanders look on in amused amazement.

With the scone stored away in a decidedly low-tech bag, the robot delivers a generous tip before departing.

The film ends with the little robot waddling its way home down a street.

Come to think of it, we fancy a coffee right now. Anyone got one of these robots we can borrow?
