Samsung shifts 3 million Galaxy Note II’s after just 37 days on sale

Anyone thinking the original Galaxy Note’s sky-high sales figures were something of a fluke will have to think again, as Samsung have announced huge sales for the follow-up Galaxy Note II phone/tablet hybrid (a ‘phablet’ if you must).

Samsung has announced that the pocket straining device has already notched up 3 million sales in little over a month after release – a hugely impressive figure considering that it’s a device that created its own category.

Of course, these sales still appear rather modest compared to the 5 million sales in a single weekend achieved by Apple for the much hyped launch of their iPhone 5, but it puts Samsung on track to reach their ambitious target of 20 million Galaxy Note II sales.

With the current total not accounting for any US sales yet, it looks like Samsung have another king-sized winner on their hands.
