Sony Ericsson LiveView second screen for Android phones hits the UK

Sony Ericsson LiveView: a wristwatch-size second screen for your Android

We were intrigued by this device when it was first announced in September, and the Sony Ericsson LiveView will now available in the UK from the 19th November.

The small (3.5 by 3.5 by 1.1 cm) device comes with a colour 1.3” touchscreen and lets users check important information from their Android devices without having to take their phones out.

Designed to be clipped on to jackets or worn as a wristwatch,  the LiveView has an operating range of 10m and will let users read SMS and MMS messages, manage incoming calls see who is calling and view updates from Facebook and Twitter.

The LiveView can be bought from Play.com for £49.99 – and you know what? We’re almost tempted!

  1. Yes indeed. I really think that this is a good direction for smartphones to head in – a wearable wristwatch sized gadget..you get to choose which are the functions you need to keep an eye on at any one time.

I like the fact that Android are snapping at Apples heels…(and overtaking them by some measures)
