Long term Nintendo fans will know the sometimes weird and wonderful shapes that the controllers have taken over the years, starting from a clunky’n’chunky rectangular number in 1985.
Skip forward to 1996, and the thing had become a spaceship-shaped oddity, before settling down to the fantastically simple Wii controller we all know and love.
