Old school music player Winamp – which modestly likes to describe itself as ‘the Ultimate Media Player’ – has been released on the Android platform and is ready to start playing back your tunes now.
The app, which is currently in beta, works with all Android devices (Android 2.1 OS and above) and claims to offer a “complete media management solution by seamlessly syncing with the Winamp desktop library.”
As well as regular USB syncing, Winamp for Android can also perform wireless desktop syncs with your Winamp desktop application (Winamp 5.59 beta required).
