Google gets in the festive spirit with a Christmas doodle

Google gets in the festive spirit with a Christmas doodle

With some parts of the world (like New Zealand, South Korea and Japan) already into Christmas Eve, Google’s festive logo has started appearing on their search homepage.

Its a rather modest affair compared to the bonanza last year (see below), but the design sees the letters Google spelt out by illuminated, holiday-themed objects.

Look closely and you’ll see a snowflake for the letter “G,” a Santa Claus and a bell for each “o,” a rather natty snowman for the second “g,” a candle for the “l” and a gift-wrapped present for the “e.”

Clicking on the doodle brings up a search for “Happy Holidays.”

And a happy Christmas to you too!
