With most of our days spend looking at dour promo videos accompanied by deep voices telling us how great a product is, we’ve grown to appreciate Samsung’s amusing stabs at Apple more and more.
Although Samsung and Apple may be locked in a host of incredibly tedious legal battles (more about those later), the South Korean giant just can’t resist taking the rise out of Apple fanboys and fangirls camping outside stores waiting for the latest iPhone.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 remains our favourite smartphone of the year, delivering handsomely in every department except one: the annoying camera noises which can not be turned off.
It drove us mad for weeks until we finally found a way of finally silencing the thing – without the need to fiddle about rooting the phone.

It’s been picking up rave reviews all over the place – Engadget has just declared to be, “definitely the best Android phone available today – it’s possibly even the best phone available today, period” – and from our brief hands on, we’ve been feeling the love for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
