The lack of top notch apps in Palm’s webOS platform has proved to be a bitter disappointment to Palm Pre and Pixi users, with UK users being hit particularly hard (the Brit App Catalogue is a pale shadow of the US one, with just 2,800 apps on offer and many of them pretty unexciting).

When it comes to playing back audio on laptops, the sound quality is – at best - pretty shonky, but MSI is hoping to hook in audiophiles with its beefy new GX660 laptop which promises a veritable orgy of aural pleasure.

Microsoft has officially announced Project Kinect, their new motion-sensor peripheral for the Xbox 360.
Formerly known as Project Natal, the Kinect is the revolutionary control system for video games using a camera, motion-sensors, microphones and advanced software to allow Xbox 360 owners to play games without having to plug in traditional control pads.
