Freshly announced at CES is the LG Optimus smartphone which can currently claim to be the world’s thinnest phone at just At 9.2mm thick.

We’re not sire how long that record will last, but at the moment it’s 0.1mm thinner than the previous champ, the Apple iPhone 4.
