We guess we’ll be seeing a lot more of this as Apple unleash their enormous advertising budget to persuade us about the joys of their latest product, the iPad.
Their first iPad TV commercial debuted during a break in the 82nd Annual Academy Awards and serves up a 30 second demo showing the tablet device doing its thing.

Anyone who spends time on the move knows how handy it is to be able to tether your netbook/laptop/tablet-based computing device to your phone to enjoy some internet connectivity on a bigger screen.
The iPad – a delightfully mobile device if we ever saw one – looks to be just the sort of thing that would be perfect for hooking up to your iPhone.
After all, they’re made by the same people, so all the inter-connectivity and seamless interoperability has got to be just a click away, no?

If – like us – you can’t be arsed with poncey protective cases, rubbery skins, plastic covers, Invisi-Shields, OtterBoxes or nobby leather wallets to safeguard your iPhone, it may be looking a little worse for wear right now.
After all, months of making an iPhone rough it in your pockets with your keys, cash, Allen keys, small torches and other assembled bits of mobile man-junk can soon leave Apple’s finest looking a little battle-scarred, so thank ‘eavens for a certain Shenaniganz08.

Vast legions of iPhone fart app developers may be be quaking in their parping shoes today at the news that Apple has just turned down an app because it only offered, “minimal user functionality.”

We’re not getting any emails pushed through to our iPhone at the moment (we’re in the UK on the o2 network) and a quick look on Twitter shows that other people seem to be suffering the same problem.
We’ve been getting delays in mails arriving all day – at the moment our GMail account has at least 15 emails dating back three hours that are yet to turn up on the iPhone.

As we reported on Sunday, developers have been venting at Apple after the company suddenly removed thousands of adult themed apps from the App Store.
Developers were particularly annoyed at what looks like some serious double standards, with Apple allowing some apps from more well known companies to remain – like a saucy Playboy app which promises “sexy preview clips” and hours of titillation.

When we were young, we used to look up at the Moon and imagine we were heroically piloting a lander, ready for some top notch lunar exploration before heading back to the module for lashings of gingerpop and cake.
Sadly, the call from the Command Centre never arrived, but at least NASA is giving us the opportunity to virtually control our own Lunar rover with its first ever iPhone game: the Lunar Electric Rover Simulator.

Since releasing the Chrome for Mac beta browser at the end of last year, Google’s techie bods have been busy bunging in new features, and have today decided to share their latest version of their free browser with the Apple world.
Their new update of Chrome for Mac now packs extensions, bookmark sync, and the ability to install any of over 2,200 extensions currently available in Chrome’s extensions gallery.
