As a thousand over-excited fanboy bloggers squealed with expectant iJoy as Apple went through its usual charade of closing its online store for a minor upgrade, snack food supremos Doritos laid one on Steve Jobs & Co with a well executed parody video.
Filmed in the style of Apple’s iconic adverts and peppered with buzzwords like “Welcome to Spice 2.0,” there’s no question which company is being targeted in this video. Nice one!

We’ve already declared ourselves a little disappointed by Apple’s self declared “revolutionary” iPad tablet, and reactions have been mixed everywhere else too.
On the whole, reviewers seem to have warmed to the tablet a lot more than most ‘ordinary’ people who have generally greeted the announcement with a shrug and the questions, “what’s the point of it?” and, “why do I need it?”
We’re not sure if we can answer those questions, either, but read on for some more reaction and comment about Apple’s new tablet computer…

It’s still under development and not expected out until the second half of this year, but Lenovo ’s U1 Tablet/PC Hybrid has already got us a lot more excited than Apple’s frankly underwhelming iPad offering.
Showcased at CES earlier this month, the tablet packs everything you’d need from a fully functioning tablet PC – touchscreen, full multitasking, automatic screen orientation, 3G, Wi-Fi, onboard camera etc, but comes with a very clever twist: it can clip into a special shell to become a full Windows 7 laptop with a proper keyboard.
