Vodafone posts up iPhone 4S contract prices for pre-ordering

Vodafone has posted up their contract rates for the new iPhone 4S, with the deals coming in 24 month, 18 months and – happily – 12 month flavours.

Being a shiny new iPhone thingy, bargain hunters and cheapskates can swiftly jog on, because we’re looking at high- end, bling-tastic prices here.

Talk Talk - the network people love to complain about: Ofcom

TalkTalk has emerged as the most complained-about broadband and phone services provider in the UK, according to the latest data from industry regulator Ofcom.

The dubious honour was bestowed on them after the company attracted the most complaints over the period from April to June, 2011, while Virgin Media kept their customers the happiest, attracting the fewest complaints.

Vodafone 555 Blue Facebook phone targets da yoot and emerging markets

Vodafone has jumped on the social networking gravy train and introduced its own ‘Facebook Phone’ in the shape of the Vodafone 555 Blue.

Aimed at the cheapo segment of the market (i.e. teens and the developing world), the handset doesn’t trouble itself with niceties like a well known operating system, and instead elects to run Vodafone’s proprietary operating system.

Vodafone has announced its latest entry-level market Android handset, the Vodafone Smart. The Android 2.2 Froyo-powered little fella comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen and quadband HSDPA (3.6).

Vodafone cave in to customer anger and remove 360 apps from HTC Desire.

It’s rare to see a mobile operator paying much attention to the wishes of its customers when they’re busy trying to pursue their commercial aims, but kudos goes to Vodafone after the company backed down over their decision to foist a load of unwanted software on to HTC Desire handsets.
